Privacy

This page explains what information TapRidge collects through this website, why we collect it, who processes it for us, and how long we keep it. We collect as little as we can.

What we collect

• Order details: your business name and address, contact name, email, phone number, the links you want your products to open, any logo file you upload, delivery details and notes.
• Free mockup requests: your business name and email, which prompt you used, and whether you ticked the box to receive occasional tips and offers. We create a private mockup page for you and an offer code tied to your email and business.
• Referral codes: if you arrive through a referral link, the code is sent with your order.
• Messages and inquiries: whatever you choose to send us through the contact, reorder and multi-location forms.
• How you found us: the campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source) or the website that referred you, and the first page you visited. This is sent with orders and inquiries so we know which channels work.
• Website usage: anonymous counts of steps such as viewing a package, opening the order form or finishing an order. See “Website analytics” below.

We never ask for passwords, verification codes or access to your Google, Facebook or other accounts. Please don't send them to us.

How we use it

• To configure, make, ship and install your order.
• To send your proof, total and updates about your order.
• To reply to your questions and inquiries.
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
• To understand, in aggregate, which pages and channels help people order.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising. We send marketing email only if you've asked for it, and every marketing or reminder email has an unsubscribe link.

Website analytics

Our own analytics count events such as page views and order-form steps. They use no cookies and no third-party trackers, and they don't store your IP address, device fingerprint or browser details. Events from one browser tab are grouped with a random identifier that is forgotten when you close the tab. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we don't count your visit at all. We keep these events for about 13 months.

Who processes it for us

• Cloudflare hosts this website, TapRidge links and Hub pages, stores form submissions and uploaded logo files (in private storage that isn't publicly accessible), and may use its security check (Turnstile) to tell people from bots.
• Our email provider sends order confirmations, mockups and any emails you've asked for.
• Payment and delivery providers receive what they need when you pay or when we ship.

They may use your information only to provide their service to us. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. To limit repeated abuse, we keep a count of recent form submissions per connection under a code that changes every day, so it can't be traced back to an IP address; these counts are deleted within a few hours.

Customers who tap your displays

Each product opens a TapRidge link that forwards to the page you chose. TapRidge doesn't ask your customers for any personal information when they tap or scan. For each opened link we record only the link, the time and whether it was a tap or a scan, so we can show counts. We don't record who opened it.

Information saved in your browser

Some things are saved only in your own browser, on your device:

• Your order form answers (not your logo file), so you don't lose them if you leave the page. They're cleared when you submit.
• A mockup offer code and its expiry date, so the offer can be applied when you order. We re-check it with our server.
• Your business name and email on the reorder form, only if you tick “Remember my business”. You can remove them with “Forget these details”.
• A referral code from a referral link, for 30 days.
• How you first found the site (campaign tags or referring website), for 30 days, unless your browser sends Global Privacy Control.
• Whether you've closed the free-mockup prompt, so we don't show it again for 30 days.

You can clear all of these at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

• Orders and order emails: for as long as we need them for your orders, reorders and our legal and accounting obligations.
• Mockup requests and inquiries: until they're no longer needed to follow up with you. Ask us and we'll delete them.
• Saved unfinished orders: up to 30 days, as described above.
• Analytics events and email delivery records: about 13 months.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop any email, email hello@gettapridge.com. You can also use the unsubscribe link in any reminder or marketing email.
